Chocolate Wine Pairing

What chocolate pairs best with wine?

All chocolate

Wine is great.  Chocolate is great.

As for specific pairings, a good rule of thumb is pairing Light chocolates or Milk Chocolate with Light Reds or slightly sweet wines.  Heavier reds go best with Dark Chocolate.

White wine can be thought of sometimes being hard to pair with chocolate however, I find that it also pairs well with milder chocolates.

​The general rule of heavy foods with fuller wines; lighter foods with lighter wines works well with chocolate as well.
